I need to re-home my pet, who do I contact?

At Animal Samaritans, we believe in transparency, compassion & doing what’s right? (especially when it’s difficult.) Over the past few weeks, our team has responded to an overwhelming number of urgent cases: kittens found abandoned, stray cats in extremely poor condition, & cats facing the risk of euthanasia. We’ve taken in as many as we can safely care for.

At the same time, rehoming has slowed. This directly impacts our foster capacity, which is now completely full. If your cat is already on the list, their place remains secure, but please be aware that the wait time is now estimated at 6 to 9 months for any new agreed additions to that list.

We understand how upsetting this news may be for those hoping to get help. It breaks our hearts too. We remain fully committed to the cats already in our care.

Thank you for your understanding, your trust & your continued support. It means the world to us and to the cats who rely on our help. With heartfelt thanks, The Animal Samaritans Team
