Baby Herman's Story
This special boy was handed in at one of our lovely vets at 3 weeks old. When he was handed in by a member of the public he was not in a great state. He weighed 250g, his right eye was deformed, due to having conjunctivitis before his eyes had even opened and he didn’t have his mum to help give him her natural immunity or full time care.
He was lovingly hand reared by one of the lovely Vet Nurses and has gone from strength to strength. Herman needs a very special home as after doing a swab at the vets it was also found that he had something called Mycoplama felis, this is a natural flora in a cats nose but this had gone to the eye due to the conjunctivitis and causing the third eyelid to fuse to the retina. The bacteria has been fully treated but our vet feels that he should go to his new home as an only cat. He is fine with dogs and could live with a family with older children.
Is Baby Herman right for you?
Personality: He’s a happy, confident boy, he loves to explore everything and wants nothing more than human company. He is loved completely by everyone he meets because of his genuinely lovely nature and it helps that he is a stunning cat.
Likes: Loves a rough play, purrs so loudly his whole body vibrates and enjoys his grub.
Things to know: Our vet feels that he should go to his new home as an only cat. .He is fine with dogs and could live with a family with older children. Due to him only having one eye which doesn’t affect him in the slightest but will impair his depth perception, we are looking for an indoor only home or one with a Catio or cat proofed garden.
