Kenya's Story

❤️ Please read again, we’ve had a bit of a breakthrough! ❤️

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BIO, KENYA HAS VERY SPECIFIC NEEDS AND WE WILL ONLY CHOOSE A HOME FOR HER THAT MEETS ALL OF THEM. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Kenya is a typical Bengal, full of beans, very noisy and very affectionate. She came into rescue after the family that she lived with had an allergy. She is adorable with people! Love a cuddle and a fuss but is full of energy and will need a home where someone will invest in playing with her and adapting her environment so she has lots of enrichment.

She likes to spill her water everywhere and nothing will be safe in your home, she will knock things off so don’t expect to keep your Royal Dalton figurines on the mantelpiece!

Kenya could live with another cat, but it needs to be one who is very confident and can put her in her place. She can still be a bully but she has made friends with her foster mums cat. The cat needs to be young and playful, Kenya needs someone who will play with her but not take any of her rather over exuberant rough play. The introduction will take some time, it’s taken her several weeks to bond with her foster sister.

She can live with dogs and children over the age of 12.

She must go to a large indoor only home with someone who is willing to cat proof windows, ideally to a home with a catio or cat proof garden. We are more than happy to advise on this.

Kenya is a lovely girl, but she does have some special needs, we would advise you to research the Bengal breed before applying. They are not your average cat and need a home that understands this and accepts her for her crazy, ninja self.

Please do not apply if you do not meet the above criteria.

Is Kenya right for you?

Personality: She’s a typical Bengal, full of beans, very noisy and very affectionate.

Likes: She likes to spill her water everywhere and knock things off surfaces! She loves people.

Things to know: Kenya is a bully with other cats, she MUST go to a home where she is the only feline, this is non negotiable. She must go to a large indoor only home with someone who is willing to cat proof windows, ideally to a home with a catio or cat proof garden. We are more than happy to advise on this.
