Maverick (b/w boy) and Riri (calico girl) haven’t had the easiest start in life, but together they’ve learned that the world isn’t such a scary place. 

Maverick came from an unwanted litter, while Riri was rescued from a busy hoarding home. Both arrived frightened, unsure of people and lacking the confidence to simply be cats. With patience, kindness and the reassurance of other cats, they’ve come such a long way. 

Today  Maverick has found his voice and enjoys a little chat, while Riri has blossomed alongside her feline friends. Neither enjoys being touched just yet, and both are wonderfully polite about setting their boundaries. A gentle sniff or little nose boop is all they’ll allow before quietly wandering off. 

They’re looking for a family who understands that love doesn’t always look like cuddles, and that earning the trust of a shy cat is one of life’s greatest rewards. They would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where they can continue building their confidence together. They are looking for a home with access to a safe garden or cat-proofed outdoor space. They are happy to live with other friendly cats and have not been tested with dogs. They would love to stay together, continuing to support one another as they settle into their forever home.
