Maverick (b/w boy 11 months) and Riri (calico girl 9 months ) haven’t had the easiest start in life, but together they’ve learned that the world isn’t such a scary place.  

Maverick came from an unwanted litter, while Riri was rescued from a busy hoarding home. Both arrived frightened, unsure of people and lacking the confidence to simply be cats. With patience, kindness and the reassurance of other cats, they’ve come such a long way.  

Maverick has now found his voice and enjoys a little chat, while Riri has blossomed alongside her feline friends. Both allow now being petted and feeding time is a good opportunity to get them used to being gently touched. Mav loves playing with a shoe string whilst Riri doesn’t get tired chasing after a Laser pointer. But they are just as happy playing together, chasing after each other and getting up to mischief. 

They’re looking for a family who understands that love doesn’t always look like cuddles, and that earning the trust of a shy cat is one of life’s greatest rewards. They would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where they can continue building their confidence together. They are looking for a home with access to a safe garden or cat-proofed outdoor space. They are happy to live with other friendly cats and have not been tested with dogs. They are very close and need to stay together, continuing to support one another as they settle into their forever home.
